Genealogy research in Italy
Italian genealogy research for descendants abroad
We help descendants of Italian families move from a surname or family story to records in Italy: civil registrations, parish books, town archives and local context.
When this service helps
- You know a surname but not the exact ancestral town.
- You have a town name and need records checked in Italy.
- You want to verify family stories with documents.
- You need a practical research plan before requesting certificates.
What we can search
Civil records, parish records, indexes, local archives and surname distribution clues, depending on the town, period and available sources.
